Notes:
- 5th/6th Jan - 8cm of snow overnight plus
a further 2 during the day.
- 10th/11th Jan - 1.5cm of snow over night but above freezing so a
thaw began
- 10th/12th Feb - Cold with snow showers
- 19th Feb - 2cm of snow
on the car first thing but soon melted
- 21st Feb - 1cm of snow
after a -2.2C night but it soon melted
- 22nd Feb - Snow for most of
the morning. About 4cm where it settled but most on the roads melted
- 23rd Feb - More snow showers
- 14th Apr - Anomometer head
changed as a bearing had gone on the previous one
- 2nd May - Wettest day this
year so far with 24.7mm rain
- 23rd May - Warmest day in May
since 2005 with the temperature topping 31.1C
- 1st August - May/June/July very dry,
rainfall now at 70% of the average
- 25th August - Wettest day of the year with 37mm rain
falling.
- 10th October - Change the batteries in the outside sensor
- 1st November - Anomometer appears to stop sending readings when the
weather is misty and damp
- 26th/27th Nov - First snow fall of the winter, albiet light.
- 28th November - Coldest November night sinces I started keeping records in 1993
- 16/17th Dec - Rain turned to snow, temperature fell
from 7C to -4C over night.
- 17th/18th Dec - Coldest night since 24/12/1004 with the temperature
dipping to -7.2C
- 18th Dec - 10cm of
snow fell between midday and 4pm causing chaos
- 19/20th Dec - Temperature drops to -8.2C which is
the coldest temperature recorded here since records started in 1992
- 28th Dec - The snow
that fell on the 18th finally starts to thaw and dissappear.
